From Glasgow City Centre it’s an easy 30 minute walk to the distillery, heading along the banks of the Clyde.

Cycling
The National Cycle Route 7 goes right past the distillery front door and is a great way of reaching the distillery from the city centre in around 10 minutes. Running along the river, this is a traffic-free cycle route. We have covered bike racks outside the distillery. For full details of cycling routes, visit Sustrans.
Glasgow has a public cycle hire scheme provided by Nextbike. The closest hire stations to The Distillery are at The SEC and The Riverside Museum.

Subway
Glasgow has one of the oldest subway systems in the world! It’s a great way of reaching the west end from the city centre. The nearest subway station is Partick, which is a 20 minute walk from the distillery. Follow signs for the Riverside Museum, before turning left along the river to reach us.
Train
The closest train station is Exhibition Centre, which has regular trains from Glasgow Central that take about 5 minutes. From Exhibition Centre station it’s a 15 minute walk to the distillery. Follow signs to the SEC through the covered walkway, and then turn right along the river to reach the distillery.
Partick Station is a 20 minute walk away.
Bus
For Regular bus services, the closest bus stops are at the Riverside Museum (10 minute walk) and the SEC (10 minute walk). These are served by The service 100
Other bus connections are available via Finnieston, which is a 15 minute walk away. First Bus Routes 2 and 3 pass through Finnieston from the city centre.
The City Sightseeing bus route includes The Clydeside Distillery on their city tour, with a dedicated bus stop, 11a right outside the building. Hop off and hop back on the bus during their scheduled times.

FROM THE WEST: From the M8 exit junction 25 onto A739. Exit onto A814 toward City Centre/Partick. Continue straight to stay on A814. Exit onto Hayburn St/B808 toward Partick/Glasgow Harbour. Slight right onto Beith St/B808. Turn right toward Castlebank St. Turn left onto Castlebank St. Continue straight onto Stobcross Rd. The Clydeside Distillery will be on the right.
FROM THE EAST: At junction 19, take the A814 exit to Clydebank/SEC. Turn right onto Stobcross St/A814. Continue to follow A814. Take the exit toward B808/Partick/Glasgow Harbour. Keep left and merge onto Stobcross Rd. Turn right. Turn left. The Clydeside Distillery will be on the right.
The Distillery is situated outside the new Glasgow Low Emission Zone, which covers the city centre fo the east of the distillery. For more information on the LEZ click here.
Electric vehicles
Currently, electric charging points are not available at our car park. The closest location is at the Riverside Museum, a straight 10 minute walk from the distillery.
