Below are some of our favourite whisky festivals to enjoy a dram at this Winter.
OCTOBER
DRAMATHON
What better motivation for running than the promise of a lovely dram at the end? If you love running and love whisky then this is your festival! With a choice of distances and several distilleries on the route there is something for every ability at the Dramathon. There’s even a relay where you can tackle the distance in teams of four before enjoying the post-race party. The race takes place along the Speyside Way from Glenfarclas Distillery to Glenfiddich Distillery.

ISLAY WHISKY ACADEMY
Not your traditional whisky festival, but this is one event you’ll not want to miss! Learn all the tips and tricks of the trade at Islay Whisky Academy’s residential course. The course includes 5 days of lectures, talks, presentations, accommodation and transport to and from venue distilleries. There’s even a peat cutting experience that you can take part in! On completing the course you’ll be rewarded with a Diploma Certificate.

THE DORNOCH WHISKY FESTIVAL
Have a dram and make yourself at home in the Highlands at the Dornoch Whisky Festival! This whisky festival takes you all over local Highland highlights and aims to bring together the finest whiskies through a partnership of local venues, producers and retailers over the space of a weekend.
You’ll have the chance to enjoy a range of events from whisky tasting, live music, markets and ceilidh dancing.

GLASGOW WHISKY FESTIVAL
For something a little closer to home check out the Glasgow Whisky Festival this November. This festival is perfect if you’re looking for things to do in Glasgow. This festival brings Scotland’s national drink to Hampden Park. The festival offers the opportunity to sample a wide range of exquisite whiskies and showcases distilleries closest to Glasgow - you may even get to see us there!
